RELX plc (GB:REL) has released an update.
RELX PLC has announced the purchase of 86,173 of its own ordinary shares, all of which will be held as treasury shares, at a volume weighted average price of 3601.7346 pence each. Following this transaction, the company now holds 40,989,399 shares in treasury, with a total of 1,867,550,759 ordinary shares in issue, excluding those held in treasury. This buyback is part of a larger initiative, as since the start of the year, RELX PLC has acquired a total of 21,277,206 ordinary shares.
