Prudential (GB:PRU) has released an update.
Prudential plc has announced the buyback of 289,711 of its own shares at an average price of GBP 7.0962 each, with plans to cancel the acquired shares, which will subsequently reduce the total number of shares in issue and voting rights. The transaction was conducted through Goldman Sachs International on the London Stock Exchange, under the authority of the company’s shareholders as per the 2024 Annual General Meeting.
