Centrica (GB:CNA) has released an update.
Centrica PLC has announced the recent purchase of 125,000 of its own ordinary shares on 22 August 2024 as part of its ongoing share buyback program, with these shares now held as treasury shares. Since the start of the program on 8 August 2024, the company has acquired over 6.4 million shares, spending over £8.2 million. Following this transaction, Centrica’s treasury holds upwards of 441 million shares, with over 5.2 billion shares remaining in issue.
