Centrica (GB:CNA) has released an update.
Centrica PLC has announced the purchase of 122,374 of its own ordinary shares at an average price of 127.5900 pence each, as part of its share buyback program initiated on 8 August 2024. The shares will be held as treasury shares, with the total number of shares repurchased since the program’s start reaching over 6 million, at a cost of just over £8 million. Following this transaction, Centrica now holds approximately 440.9 million shares in treasury.
