Barclays Continues Share Buy-Back Program

Barclays (GB:BARC) has released an update.

Barclays PLC has recently bought back and plans to cancel 4,807,168 of its own shares, with the transaction conducted through J.P. Morgan Securities plc. This buy-back is part of a larger program announced on 21 February 2024, which has seen Barclays repurchase over 486 million shares to date. Post-cancellation, Barclays’ issued share capital will stand at approximately 14.73 billion ordinary shares.
