Barclays (GB:BARC) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has recently bought back and plans to cancel 3,826,454 of its own shares, with the buy-back executed at prices ranging from 221.7000p to 230.3500p per share. After cancellation, the total number of Barclays’ shares with voting rights will be 14,655,452,978. This move is part of a larger share repurchase program initiated on August 5, 2024, which has seen the company acquire over 66 million shares at an average price of 220.2717p.
