Bank of China Alters Auditor Engagement Plans

Bank of China (HK:3988) has released an update.

The Bank of China Limited has announced the unanimous approval by its Board of Directors to adjust the engagement of external auditors for 2024, appointing PricewaterhouseCoopers for interim review and other services at a fee of RMB35 million. The original plan for re-engagement of auditors will not be presented at the Shareholders’ Meeting, where only the new engagement will be considered. The decision aligns with the Bank’s strategic business needs and market conditions.
