Mercator Limited, established in 1983 and headquartered in Mumbai, India, is a diversified company operating through its subsidiaries in the shipping, dredging, oil and gas, and coal sectors. Its operations are structured into two main segments: Shipping and Coal Mining, and Trading and Logistics. The company's coal activities include mining, procurement, and logistical management, with operational coal mines in Indonesia and a mining license in Mozambique. Mercator also engages in petroleum exploration, specifically in two blocks located in India's Cambay Basin, Gujarat. Furthermore, its assets include a fleet of oil tankers and specialized dredger vessels. The company was previously known as Mercator Lines Limited before rebranding to Mercator Limited in November 2011.
