Mantoverde Achieves Commercial Production
Mantoverde Development Project reached commercial production levels in September, only three months after producing the first concentrate. First two concentrate shipments met all required specifications.
Feasibility Study for Mantoverde Optimized Project
The feasibility study outlines a capital-efficient de-bottlenecking project to expand the existing sulfide concentrator from 32,000 to 45,000 tonnes per day with an expected additional 20,000 tonnes of copper per year for an initial capital of just below $150 million, implying a low capital intensity of $7,500 per tonne.
Copper Production Increase
Copper production increased by 16% quarter-over-quarter to 47,500 tonnes, driven by the initial production from the Mantoverde Development Project.
Recognition for Sustainability Efforts
Capstone Copper received the 2024 Best Midsized Company of the Year Award from SONAMI, recognizing ESG practices and community engagement.
