Ambev delivered another solid quarter of growth and profitability against the toughest comp of the year, with EBITDA growing 8.5% and 8.7% ex-Argentina. Gross and EBITDA margins expanded organically by 180 and 110 basis points respectively.
Record Volumes in Brazil
Brazil delivered all-time high volumes for Q3, led by the health and wellness portfolio with Guarana Zero up high 50%, and Pepsi Black and Gatorade up low 20%.
Strong Brand Performance
Premium brands in Brazil grew above 20%, led by Corona, Spaten, and Original. The core plus brands grew in the low teens, with Budweiser increasing volumes by nearly 50%.
Successful Innovation and Technology Adoption
Ambev launched gluten-free and low-calorie beer options, advanced their digital platform BEES, and expanded Ze Delivery, which is now available in more than 700 cities across Brazil.
Share Buyback Program
Ambev's Board approved a BRL 2 billion share buyback program, demonstrating a disciplined approach to capital allocation and beginning to return excess cash to shareholders.
