Strong Quarterly Financial Results
The firm reported record fiscal fourth quarter net revenues of $3.46 billion, net income of $601 million, and earnings per share of $2.86, with adjusted net income being $621 million or $2.95 per share.
Record Client Assets and Recruiting
Client assets grew to a record $1.57 trillion. Domestic net new assets for the quarter were $13 billion. The firm recruited financial advisers with $100 million in production and $17.5 billion in client assets.
Capital Returns to Shareholders
The firm returned nearly $1.3 billion to shareholders through share repurchases and dividends in the fiscal year, with $900 million spent on repurchasing 7.7 million shares.
Improved Capital Markets Performance
Capital Markets segment saw net revenues grow 42% year-over-year and 46% sequentially, driven by higher M&A revenues.
