Whitbread (GB:WTB) has released an update.
Whitbread PLC has announced the buyback and cancellation of 129,978 of its own shares at an average price of 2,942.97p per share, with the transaction conducted through Morgan Stanley. This latest acquisition brings the total number of shares repurchased since April 30, 2024, to 3,524,394, costing over £105 million. The company’s total voting rights now stand at 181,001,153 following the share cancellation.
