VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund Limited has revealed that its investment manager, VinaCapital Investment Management Ltd., has secured a loan by pledging over 700,000 shares, while still retaining ownership and full voting rights. This accounts for a minor portion of the company’s total voting rights, with VinaCapital holding a stake of 2.64%. The transaction was conducted outside of trading venues and is part of a loan facility agreement with The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited dating back to 2022.
