Unilever Initiates Major Share Buyback Program

Unilever plc (UL) has released an update.

Unilever PLC has launched a share buyback program, committing to repurchase up to €1.5 billion worth of shares throughout 2024. The first phase, amounting to €850 million, will begin on May 17, 2024, and conclude by August 30, 2024. This move aims to reduce the company’s capital, with the buyback being executed under the direction of Goldman Sachs International.
