TotalEnergies Invests in German Battery Storage Project

TotalEnergies SE (FR:TTE) has released an update.

TotalEnergies SE has announced a significant €75 million investment in a new 100 MW/200 MWh battery storage project in Germany, marking the first initiative with Kyon Energy since its acquisition. The state-of-the-art energy storage technology, supplied by affiliate Saft, is set to commence operations in 2026, with Quadra Energy handling its marketing. This move further solidifies TotalEnergies’ commitment to the German electricity market and the broader goal of decarbonization.
