TotalEnergies SE (FR:TTE) has released an update.
TotalEnergies SE has acquired a 10% stake in the Ruwais LNG project in Abu Dhabi, joining partners ADNOC, Shell, bp, and Mitsui. The project, set to begin operations in the second half of 2028, is touted as one of the world’s lowest-carbon intensity LNG plants due to its fully electric liquefaction trains powered by the UAE’s grid. TotalEnergies, a leading energy company with a significant presence in the UAE, is reinforcing its commitment to sustainable development with this partnership.
