Tekcapital plc, a UK-based IP investment firm, reports that its portfolio company Innovative Eyewear, Inc. has entered into a distribution partnership with Windsor Eyes, Inc. to expand the reach of their smart eyewear brands in the US optical retail market. The collaboration aims to leverage Windsor Eyes’ extensive distribution network to introduce Innovative Eyewear’s ChatGPT-enabled products, including Lucyd and other licensed brands, to a broader consumer base. Tekcapital owns approximately 40% of Innovative Eyewear, positioning it to potentially benefit from the smart eyewear’s market penetration.
