Tekcapital Subsidiary Boosts AV Safety with Satellite Tech

Tekcapital (GB:TEK) has released an update.

Tekcapital Plc’s subsidiary Guident Corp. has been awarded a grant by the Space Florida-Israel Innovation Partnership program to enhance the safety and reliability of autonomous vehicles through low-latency satellite connectivity. The project, starting in early July 2024, aims to improve communication for self-driving vehicles, particularly in areas with poor terrestrial network coverage. Guident is collaborating with Israeli partner NOVELSAT and Space Florida to develop a remote monitoring and control system for autonomous vehicles.
