Sun Life Financial (TSE:SLF) has released an update.
Sun Life Financial Inc. reported a marginal decrease in underlying net income to $875 million in Q1 2024, a 2% drop from the previous year, with underlying ROE at 16.0%. Despite this, the company saw a 1% increase in reported net income to $818 million and an 8% growth in assets under management, reaching $1,470 billion. Additionally, Sun Life announced a dividend increase to $0.81 per share and plans to continue share buybacks in the upcoming quarter.
