Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo – SABESP announces the appointment of Mr. Carlos Augusto Leone Piani as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Mr. Andre Salcedo, effective October 1, 2024. The change in leadership follows the successful privatization and restructuring of the company under Mr. Salcedo, setting the stage for future growth and modernization. Mr. Piani brings over 20 years of experience in investments, mergers, and acquisitions to his new role, where he is expected to continue SABESP’s trajectory as a leading sanitation company in Brazil and globally.
