Prudential (GB:PRU) has released an update.
Prudential plc has announced the repurchase of 583,000 of its own shares at an average price of GBP 6.6113 per share, with the transaction executed through Goldman Sachs International on the London Stock Exchange. The company plans to cancel the acquired shares, which will adjust the total number of shares in issue and voting rights to 2,728,138,162. This move follows the authority granted by shareholders at Prudential’s 2024 Annual General Meeting.
