Prudential (GB:PRU) has released an update.
Prudential plc has announced the buyback of 1,299,319 of its own shares at prices ranging between GBP 6.7520 and GBP 6.8920, averaging GBP 6.8526 per share, through Goldman Sachs International on the London Stock Exchange. These shares are to be cancelled, reducing the total number of shares in issue and voting rights to 2,740,247,188. This move follows the authorization granted by shareholders at their 2024 Annual General Meeting.
