Prudential plc Conducts Share Buy-back to Cancel Shares

Prudential (GB:PRU) has released an update.

Prudential plc has recently repurchased 10,000 of its own shares through Goldman Sachs International on the London Stock Exchange, with plans to cancel them, which will affect the total number of voting rights for shareholders. This buy-back was conducted in line with the authority given by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting earlier in the year. The move will reduce the number of shares in issue, thereby potentially impacting the company’s stock value and shareholder voting dynamics.
