Newmark REIT Ownership Shifts in Takeover Bid

Newmark Property REIT (AU:NPR) has released an update.

Newmark Property REIT has experienced a significant shift in ownership as BWP Trust and associated entity Wesfarmers have increased their relevant interests through an off-market takeover bid. The voting power of BWP Trust in Newmark Property REIT has surged from 87.61% to 90.71%. This change in voting power is a result of offer acceptances and transfers of NPR securities under the terms of the offer dated 7 February 2024.
