mdf commerce inc., a digital commerce technology SaaS provider, is set to be acquired by KKR in a C$255 million all-cash transaction, offering mdf commerce shareholders C$5.80 per share—a 58% premium on the latest closing price. The deal has the unanimous support of mdf commerce’s board and promises to deliver immediate liquidity and certainty of value to shareholders. Post-acquisition, KKR plans to further the company’s growth into a leading enterprise software platform while introducing an employee equity ownership program.
