Manchester United Reports Decreased Quarterly Revenue

Manchester United (MANU) has released an update.

Manchester United plc reported a total revenue of £136.7 million for the three months ending 31 March 2024, marking a decrease of 19.6% compared to the same period last year, primarily due to reduced broadcasting and matchday revenues. Despite this, commercial revenue saw a slight increase, driven by retail and licensing growth. Overall operating expenses rose by 15.3%, with employee benefit expenses increasing due to investment in the first team squad.
