IP Group plc’s Australian portfolio company, AMSL Aero, has successfully completed the first free flight of Vertiia, the country’s first emission-free, long-range electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. This innovative aircraft promises zero carbon emissions with a range of up to 1,000 km on hydrogen power, marking a significant milestone in sustainable aviation. With 26 aircraft orders already placed, Vertiia is poised to transform regional air travel in Australia.
