Helios Underwriting Plc, a company offering access to Lloyd’s of London’s diverse insurance portfolio, has announced a change in leadership with CEO Martin Reith stepping down and Michael Wade stepping in as Executive Chairman. The company has reported a doubling of its syndicate portfolio capacity to £507m and a substantial increase in profits, while opting not to proceed with a new ‘follow only’ syndicate to focus on its current portfolio. Helios remains committed to acting for third-party capital providers, expecting growth in this area in the coming year.
