Haitong Securities Co., Ltd. successfully convened its first extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of 2024 on July 18, where shareholders approved key resolutions, including the appointment of new accounting firms and the election of Mr. Xie Weiqing as a supervisor. The EGM saw a 34.14% representation of the total shares with voting rights, and both resolutions passed with over half of the votes in favor. Mr. Xie brings extensive financial expertise to his new role, having held various managerial positions in finance-related firms.
