Hafnia Tanker Collision: Crew Safe, Investigation Underway

Hafnia (HAFN) has released an update.

The LR1 tanker Hafnia Nile, operated by Hafnia Limited, experienced a collision and subsequent fire in the South China Sea, but all crew members were rescued with only minor injuries reported. Hafnia is coordinating with maritime authorities and has deployed a salvor for response efforts, prioritizing crew welfare and environmental protection. The company will conduct a full investigation to ascertain the cause of the incident.
