On January 23, 2024, Ms. Juliana Elstad was appointed as an independent director to the Company’s board and to its Governance and Nominating Committee. With over two decades of leadership experience in the medical technology sector, Elstad is the CEO of Vibrato Medical and has held executive roles in various medtech companies, including Impleo Medical and Intelect Medical. Additionally, she contributes her expertise as a board member for AdvaMed. Her directorship in the Company makes her eligible for the deferred share unit plan for non-employee directors, with no disclosed related party transactions or specific arrangements influencing her selection.
