Granite Real Estate Investment Trust reported strong backing for its leadership and financial practices at its 2024 joint annual general and special meetings, with all nominated trustees and directors receiving overwhelming support from stapled unitholders. Additionally, the proposed arrangement to streamline the company’s stapled unit structure and all other resolutions were approved with high percentages. Deloitte LLP was re-appointed as auditors, and a significant majority of unitholders also endorsed Granite’s executive compensation approach.
