Granite Real Estate Investment Trust has announced an offering of C$800 million in senior unsecured debentures, which will be used primarily to refinance existing debt and for general corporate purposes. The offering consists of two series with differing interest rates and maturity dates, set to close by October 4, 2024. Additionally, Granite LP has entered a cross currency interest rate swap to exchange Canadian dollar payments for Euro payments on one series of debentures.
