China Life Insurance Co (HK:2628) has released an update.
China Life Insurance Co. has announced the resignation of Mr. Bai Tao as Chairman of the Board and Executive Director, effective from September 30, 2024, due to adjustments in work arrangements. Mr. Li Mingguang, the current Executive Director and President, will temporarily take over as Chairman, despite the deviation from corporate governance codes that recommend separation of these roles. Additionally, Mr. Cai Xiliang has been nominated for the role of Executive Director, pending shareholder and regulatory approval.
