China Life Completes Multi-Billion Bond Issue

China Life Insurance Co (HK:2628) has released an update.

China Life Insurance Company Limited has successfully issued RMB35 billion in capital supplementary bonds with a 10-year fixed-rate at 2.15%, completing the process on September 26, 2024. The funds raised will be used to replenish the company’s tier 1 capital, improving its solvency and supporting the ongoing development of its business operations.
