Cerrado Gold Warns of Potential Filing Delay

Cerrado Gold Inc (TSE:CERT) has released an update.

Cerrado Gold Inc. has announced a potential delay in filing its annual financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2023, due to audit delays at its MDN Subsidiary in Argentina, stemming from recent significant policy changes in the country. The company is addressing the increased complexities, which include new currency controls and inflation, and has applied for a management cease trade order after the Ontario Securities Commission denied their initial request. This delay may lead to a cease-trade order that would halt all trading of the company’s securities in Canada if the filings are not completed by the April 29 deadline.
