Centrica (GB:CNA) has released an update.
Centrica PLC has announced the repurchase of 1,960,000 of its own shares at a price of 142.4035 pence per share to be held as treasury shares, as part of its ongoing share repurchase program initiated in October 2023. This latest transaction brings the company’s total buyback expenditure to nearly £400 million for almost 288 million shares. Currently, Centrica holds over 530 million shares in treasury, with more than 5.2 billion shares remaining in issue.
