Centrica PLC has continued its share buyback initiative, purchasing 7,773,433 of its own ordinary shares at an average price of 116.8100 pence each, amounting to a total spend of nearly £49.1 million since the program’s announcement on August 8, 2024. The acquired shares are to be held as treasury shares, with the company’s total shares in issue now standing at over 5.18 billion, excluding those in treasury.
