Lithium Australia NL (AU:LIT) has released an update.
Centrex Limited is joining forces with Lithium Australia to tap into the LFP battery market, building on the high-grade phosphoric acid potential of its Ardmore Phosphate Mine. The partnership, cemented through a non-binding MOU, aims to construct a demonstration plant for LFP batteries, with a view towards a larger commercial plant. This move aligns with Australia’s strategic goal to become a more significant player in the global battery supply chain and reduce dependence on foreign supply.
