Lithium Australia NL (AU:LIT) has released an update.
Lithium Australia NL has concluded the final pilot phase of its LieNA technology, producing lithium phosphate, and received another ~A$1.2m from Mineral Resources Limited to fund its upcoming demonstration plant engineering study. The company anticipates the formation of a joint venture with MinRes to license the LieNA technology, aiming for an 8% gross product royalty rate. With the engineering study expected to be finished in 2022, licensing could extend to global spodumene mines.
