Castor Maritime (CTRM) has released an update.
Castor Maritime Inc., a diversified global shipping company, has expanded its fleet with the acquisition of a 2015-built Ultramax dry bulk carrier for $25.5 million. Slated for delivery in Q3 2024, this acquisition marks the company’s first foray into the Ultramax segment and is part of its strategy to modernize and grow its fleet. The addition of this vessel will bring Castor’s diverse fleet to a total of 11 vessels with a combined capacity of 0.8 million dwt.
