Canadian Apartment Properties Real Estate Investment Trust (CAPREIT) has declared a monthly distribution of $0.12083 per unit for May 2024, totaling an annualized payout of $1.45. Payable on June 17 to holders on record by May 31, the distribution reflects CAPREIT’s position as Canada’s largest publicly traded rental housing provider. The company has experienced significant growth, owning over 64,200 residential properties and increasing its monthly cash distributions by 103% since its IPO in 1997.
