At the 2024 Annual General Meeting, Canadian Apartment Properties Real Estate Investment Trust (CAPREIT) reported strong unitholder support with over 67% of outstanding units represented, the re-election of all trustee nominees, and the approval of Ernst & Young LLP as auditors. Additionally, a non-binding advisory vote endorsed CAPREIT’s executive compensation approach. CAPREIT stands as Canada’s largest publicly traded provider of rental housing, boasting a substantial portfolio across Canada and the Netherlands.
