Capita plc (GB:CPI) has released an update.
Capita plc has announced the sale of its software business, Capita One, to Orchard Information Systems Limited, a subsidiary of MRI Software. Due to changes in the Listing Rules by the FCA effective from 29 July 2024, shareholder approval for the disposal is no longer required, leading Capita to permanently adjourn its upcoming general meeting. The completion of the sale is expected towards the end of August, pending no further action from the Secretary of State under the UK’s National Security and Investment Act.
