Capita plc (GB:CPI) has released an update.
Capita plc has announced the proposed sale of its software division, Capita One, to Orchard Information Systems Limited, a subsidiary of MRI Software LLC. Shareholders of Capita will need to approve the transaction at an upcoming general meeting set for July 29. The sale could proceed without shareholder approval if the proposed New Listing Rules come into effect before the meeting, potentially negating the need for the meeting altogether.
