Baillie Gifford European Growth Trust PLC has announced the acquisition of 45,000 of its own Ordinary Shares at a price of 94.20p per share, which will be subsequently held in Treasury. This buyback leaves the total shares in Treasury at 49,365,411, while the shares in issue, excluding those in Treasury, now total 353,078,279. Shareholders may use this latest figure for calculating changes in their interest in accordance with the FCA’s rules.
