Baillie Gifford European Growth Trust PLC has announced the buyback of 75,000 of its own ordinary shares on August 22, 2024, at a price of 94.70p each, to be held in Treasury. After the purchase, the total number of treasury-held shares stands at 49,540,411, leaving 352,903,279 shares in issue for investors. This buyback may influence shareholders’ notification requirements under the FCA’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
