Keno Hill Silver Production and Investment
Keno Hill produced approximately 600,000 ounces in the third quarter, with year-to-date production of 2.1 million ounces. Hecla invested approximately $40 million in capital at the mine during the year, with more than $14 million in the third quarter.
Greens Creek Mine Performance
Despite unplanned downtime, Greens Creek generated strong free cash flow of $47 million in the third quarter and over $100 million year-to-date. Cash cost and all-in sustaining cost per silver ounce were $0.93 and $7.04, respectively, despite lower production.
Strong Financial Management
Hecla reduced its net leverage ratio to 1.8x from 2.3x in the prior quarter. The company raised $57.3 million under the ATM and paid down $49 million on the revolver, demonstrating significant deleveraging.
Exploration Success at Keno Hill
Drilling at Keno Hill continues to intersect high-grade silver mineralization over substantial widths, with intercepts including 63.8 ounces per tonne silver over 10.2 feet and 71.6 ounces per tonne silver over 14.8 feet.
