Don't Miss our Black Friday Offers:

UAL anticipates taking delivery of around 700 new narrow and widebody aircraft by 2032, including an average of more than two every week next year and three per week in 2024.

Additionally, UAL also “exercised options to purchase 44 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft for delivery between 2024 and 2026 – consistent with the United Next 2026 capacity plan – and ordered 56 more MAX aircraft for delivery between 2027 and 2028.”

The airliner expects to replace older Boeing 767 and Boeing 777 aircraft in its fleet with 100 planes of the new widebody aircraft. Furthermore, the company is looking at doing away entirely with the 767 aircraft from its fleet by 2030.

Through this move, the airliner expects to reduce its carbon emissions per seat by 25%.

Analysts are cautiously optimistic about UAL with a Moderate Buy consensus rating based on seven Buys and one Hold.
