In another sign of escalating tensions between the two billionaires, President Trump is considering getting rid of his Tesla, per the Wall Street Journal. As of yesterday evening, the car remained parked outside the White House, although how long it stays there is anyone’s guess.

On Thursday, Musk claimed that Trump would have lost the election without him, saying that the president displayed “ingratitude.” He previously characterized Trump’s tax and spending bill as a “disgusting abomination.”
Trump is “Not Interested” in a Call with Musk
In response, Trump quipped back that Musk was upset about the removal of electric vehicle credits in the bill, adding that Tesla (TSLA) was having difficulty selling its vehicles. He took a step further by saying that the government would save billions if it cancelled government subsidies and contracts provided to Musk’s companies.
Yesterday, Politico reported that Trump and Musk would hold a phone call to discuss their ongoing feud. Now, it appears that the call won’t happen, as a White House senior official has said that Trump is “not interested” in speaking with Musk.
Despite the drama, TSLA stock is up by over 5% after plunging by 14.26% yesterday.
